We’ve talked about organic living and organic food and other organic things and how good they are for our health and organism.
You know that a lot of people have doubts about this lifestyle, because they are not sure whether they can afford it or not, but what we didn’t think of are farmers and their life. Can they survive by selling organic fruit and vegetables or not?
What is definitely a fact is that you can benefit from organic farming because it is better for water, climate change air and for soil, but what many people doubt is the economical part of farming.
Why is that? Well it’s because when you grow food that has no synthetic fertilizers, pesticides and other things used for conventional fruit and vegetables then your land will produce less food.
That is not far from the truth, but you keep forgetting one thing. People who want to lead a healthy life, which means consuming and eating organic food, will pay more money in order to get it.
And that’s not the case with the ones who are eating conventional food, because they are not ready to spend their entire fortune on it.
Then there is another problem. When you don’t have organic farm then you can experience problems such as soil erosion and other negative things that can ruin your vegetables and fruit.
Organic ones for example don’t have problem with that, so that’s why they are in a better position.
Still you ask yourself “Why don’t we have more organic farmers? “ Well it is because it takes time for you to be able to label your products as organic, and people don’t want to wait that long.
