Weight is something all of us have, but none of us are willing to show-off about it. Excess weight is certainly a big problem that is prevalent all over the world.
Almost all countries of the world have people struggling to come to terms with their weight. It is almost a trend in society to be light-weight or at least to appear thin, slim and smart.
The truth is that all of us should aim at being fit and fine. Being slim and lightweight doesn't always point to a healthy person. You can be stout and be healthy at the same time.
You can be a bit bulky and yet be healthy. Moreover, a light-weight person is not always healthy. The reduced weight may as well be because of an underlying disorder.
Most of us owe our shapes to the distinct and different personalities we have. Those with an ectomorphic personality are the only ones who can be defined as healthy if the criteria for good health is to be the figure.
This in turn depends on our genetic makeup. Those with an endomorphic or mesomorphic personality are not as slim and slender, but they can be as healthy as another person with an ectomorphic personality.
Those of us who spend hours in the gym or spend a lot of money and time to our figures, should consider this very seriously. A large part of what you are and what you look like depends on your genes. You should be proud of what God has made you.
