"I’ve never been great at staying still, and that instinct has shaped most of my career. I started with a graphic design degree from Grand Valley State University, then moved through agencies, startups, corporate marketing, photo, video, social media, ecommerce, print-on-demand, Shopify, sales, and eventually high-ticket product design and development. Each step taught me more about how businesses actually grow, and where they usually break.

The same problem kept showing up: design, content, sales, and systems were treated like separate worlds. Designers made things look good but missed conversion. Marketers built funnels that sold but weakened the brand. Sales teams needed better infrastructure. Business owners needed everything to work together.

HeadFirst was built from that gap. The answer is not choosing between aesthetics and performance.
